Joel Davis is founder and President of J Davis Construction, which operates from two offices in the Upstate region of South Carolina. The company has three Divisions: General Contracting, Industrial Services and Civil. Davis hired his first employee when he was 17 years old to work for local farmers in his home town of Westminster, S.C. For the eighth consecutive year, construction industry executives say they feel optimistic about the year ahead for their business sector, according to the 43rd Wells Fargo Construction Industry Forecast.  The 2019 forecast reveals sustained confidence for the industry and expectations that expansion is more likely than contraction.
